Platinum Stars’ training venue is the Bafokeng Sports Campus, a world-class facility
used as a base by England during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Just 10 minutes from the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, and 30 minutes from Rustenburg
itself, the 65-hectare home of the club is a multi-sport facility that is equipped
to train sportspersons in soccer, athletics, martial arts, netball and rugby.
One of the fantastic features of the facility is the Clubhouse, where players can
relax after training, and the technical team can hold their briefings with the players.
The entire Platinum Stars administrative staff have relocated from the club’s old
offices in Johannesburg to the Bafokeng Sports Campus, making the club one that
is truly based in the North West Province.
Completed ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the facility is one of the newest and
most modern in South Africa, giving Platinum Stars the perfect platform for success.
