Jackson confident Dikwena will do well
Platinum Stars assistant coach Willem Jackson says Dikwena are doing everything in their power to better their position on the Absa Premiership table.

Dikwena are on position 11 with 25 points. There’s not much separating Dikwena and teams that are below on the league table. Jackson tells that the club has no choice but to win matches in order to move to a safer place on the Absa Premiership standings.

\"We are doing our best. We are doing everything in our power to get out of this position. I have no doubt that we will get out of this position,\" said Jackson.

Jackson says Dikwena will be looking for nothing less than a win when host Free State Stars at Moruleng Stadium this coming Wednesday.

\"We will fight to get the six points from this game and the one at the weekend. The Wednesday game is very important to us. We must win our game to take the pressure off us. A win will change our position on the log. It’s good for us, the players and the supporters,\" said Jackson, who is expecting the visitors to attack Dikwena throughout the match.

\"Obviously they are coming to attack us. They have been doing well. They will come and attack to put pressure on us. They also want to win. A win for us will be much appreciated and better. We want to win this game. It\'s important for us to win. We owe our supporters to win the game. On our side, the focus will be to play our normal game and get out of the position that we are in. A win will help us to push up on the log to get to a safe position.\"

Jackson says they are working on the mental state of players to have them focus on the work at hand.

Kickoff for Wednesday\'s match is at 7.30pm.
