Ntuli fancies a top eight finish
Platinum Stars striker Bongi Ntuli is hopeful Dikwena can still qualify for the top eight.

Ntuli’s side is on position 10 with 34 points. However Dikwena’s progression to the top eight will depend on other teams tripping. Not only that but Dikwena have to also win their final match of the season against SuperSport United, whom they visit at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville this Saturday afternoon.

Ntuli is adamant that Cavin Johnson’s men can walk away with maximum points in the capital city.
“There’s a chance for us to make the top eight if we beat SuperSport. If other teams lose, we can be in top eight. I am confident that we will win this game. There’s no injured player, it’s just one player on suspension, so we will be a full squad. We are going to do our best to make sure that we win the match,” Ntuli tells

Ntuli knows that it won’t be a walk in the park for Dikwena against a SuperSport side that boasts a number of lethal players. The gangly forward says Dikwena have to ensure that they are on top of their game in two areas that could decide the match.
“We have to improve on scoring goals. It has been a problem. We also have to work on not conceding goals. If we sort it out, the team will do well,” said Ntuli.

This season, Ntuli didn’t quite set the scene alight in the PSL.
“I was injured beginning of this season. My only worry is that I didn’t score a lot of goals this season. That’s my only worry other things are well. When you have being injured, your progress and performances take time to pick up. I missed some chances because I badly needed to score. When you want to score so bad, you just want to score every game. Sometimes I would make mistakes,” said Ntuli.

Ntuli will be hoping not to make mistakes against Matsatsantsa a Pitori tomorrow afternoon.

Kickoff is at 3pm.
